Tomtom home vs mydrive connect8/15/2023 ![]() I'm still happy with the TomTom ONE as a standalone device, but their support for OSX users is inexcusable. (To date, I've never gotten any mapshare correction updates!) It directs me to the update page, which after a minute says that everything is up to date. > Set your personal traffic checker: Want to know. Get highly accurate traffic information, in real-time. Also on the main home page, it tells me that my MapShare updates are out of date (which they are), however it won't let me update the MapShare corrections. BENEFITS: > Know before you go: Were passionate about traffic so you dont need to be. ![]() Some of the new Home program works, but more often than not, the updater fails. If you have other navigation devices that use MyDrive Connect, you can link up to 10 of these navigation devices to the same account. You need a separate email address for each TomTom account. Click either My Content or the green button named View Updates to. If you have multiple TomTom navigation devices that use TomTom HOME, you will need to create a TomTom account for each device. When your device is connected, MyDrive Connect automatically checks for updates and syncs any changes from your device. Log in with your TomTom account if prompted, and wait until your device is turned on. (If they can't figure out how to make the computer-gps control work out, they should make it possible to password protect the gps from within.) Connect your navigation device to your computer and start MyDrive Connect. Still no computer control of my TomTom ONE LE, just an error that says "this feature is not supported by your device or operating system." This means that it is not possible for me to password protect the gps. This Version, 2.2.0.16, works somewhat, however some things don't work at all. ![]() Well, it's better than the old version, which was well outdated even last year.
